Carter Aviation Technologies is the developer of the Slowed Rotor Compound (SRC) technology and the first aircraft to reach Mu 1. We are creating two new spinoff companies - one for manufacturing which will initially build kit aircraft and military UAVs, and one for development and prototyping. This is an opportunity to be involved with slowed rotor compound aircraft.

  • Technology has applications in military and commercial markets
  • Funding has started on a licensing agreement for our technology from a major aerospace company.
  • Carter has funding to complete its 2nd prototype - a 4 place Personal Air Vehicle (PAV) & 5 preproduction PAVs.
  • Opportunity to obtain ownership in company.

    • FAA aircraft and/or ISO 9001certification experience

    • General Aviation production skills a plus

  • Composite Engineer, Department Head
    Job description:
    • Help set up composite production facility
    • Streamline composite production of aircraft components through final assembly
    • Interview and hire lead and production workers

    Requirements:
    • M.E., I.E. or technical degree
    • Expertise with most composite processes
    • Excellent people / management skills
    • Experience with FAA composite certification and general aircraft production
    • Minimum 15 years experience
    • Strong computer skills

  • Electronic and Avionics Engineer, Department Head
    Job description:
    • Manage department
    • Help wire aircraft including electro-mechanical components
    • Help maintain radios, avionics, troubleshoot PC boards, and complete control system
    • Help develop and maintain instrumentation and data collection systems during flight tests
    • Work with others to improve design

    Requirements:
    • Electrical Engineer
    • Software and control system design experience
    • FAA aircraft certification experience
    • Excellent people / management skills
    • Excellent electrical / electronic troubleshooting skills
    • Minimum 15 years experience
    • A&P certificate a plus
