Oshkosh Photos III

The CarterCopter pavilion was a pretty busy place this year. There were many visitors and most had a go at the ever popular simulator. The software was written by Austin Meyers creator of X-Plane. The hardware was assembled by the CaterCopters crew. Carter Pavillion

 

Glenna and Mat Glenna looks on as Mat Recardo calibrates the simulator. Mat has been a huge help to CarterCopters in the world of graphic design.

Mark Fisher and General Steve Richie Mark Fisher explains the controls of the simulator to General Richie. Mark has recently started helping CarterCoter with modeling in X-Plane and has been doing a terrific job, thank you very much Mark.

Captain John Miller and Dr. Bruce Charnov Captain John Miller, from Jennies to jets since 1923 and still flying. Dr. Bruce Charnov is a professor at Hofstra University in New York and has done some great work on the history of autogyros. He presented a fascinating and informative seminar at the CarterCopter pavilion.

 

Redding Machine Shop fabricated all the machined metal parts in the CarterCopter. Paul Redding the owner and CEO, is also a major shareholder in CarterCopters. Redding Machine Shop Display

 

Sara Fisher and Cookie Hibbs Sara Fisher and Cookie Hibbs. Cookie managed all food procurement and organization of the preparation.
