2008-04-07 - Made several changes to the Frequently Asked Questions page, including:

  • Made the entire FAQ more generalized to SR/C aircraft, instead of being focused on the CarterCopter.
  • Reordered the questions into a more coherent order, grouped into a "Production & Sales" category and a "Technology" category.
  • Reworded response to "Do you plan on going into production?" to reflect kit production.
  • Reworded response to "How long will it be until I can purchase a Carter aircraft?"
  • Reworded response to "How much will a Carter aircraft cost when it is available for purchase?"
  • Added a question, "Do you plan to sell a kit of the single place CarterGyro Demonstrator?"
  • Added a question, "Do you plan to sell retrofit kits, plans, or individual components? What about to manufacturers?"
  • Reworded response to "If a rotor produces less drag the slower it rotates, why don't you just stop the rotor?"
  • Reworded response to "Can SR/C aircraft hover like a helicopter?"
  • Reworded explanation of retreating blade stall.
  • Added last two accidents to the question on our safety record, and reworded the introduction before that.

Additional Changes to website include:

  • Re-organized the main menu in the left navigation bar of every page, removing many of the links to make the menu less cluttered and more clear, hopefully improving navigation. This also necessitated adding a few new links to certain pages.
  • Made a few slight changes to the Placing an Order FAQ, consistent with changes made to the general FAQ.
  • Added a photo of the partially completed prototype to the main 4-Place PAV page, as well as another page of photos to the Construction Images section.

2008-02-05 - Updated the page on Placing an Order for a Carter Aircraft and the associated Frequently Asked Questions about Ordering a Carter Aircraft to give instructions for people outside the U.S., and to state that it seems most likely that the 4-Place Kit Prop will be the first product available.

2008-01-11 - Add the latest engineering images to the 2-Place Personal Air Vehicle page. In addition to the two isometric images, there are now 3-views of both versions of the aircraft, as well as a side view showing how the canopy will open.

2008-01-09 - Made a few changes to the CGT/CHT 150 Heliplane Specs & Performance and CGT/CHT 100 Heliplane pages. New Range vs. Payload graphs were put on each page, the Empty Weight Growth Factor was adjusted in the weight analysis on each page, the CGT/CHT 100 page was modified to reflect using a single larger engine, and a few other minor changes.

2007-12-04 - Made a few slight changes to the CHT-150 Heliplane Transport Overview page. Modified the labels on the axes of the graphs (but not the actual values) on the Heliplane Specs & Performance page.

2007-12-03 - Added a new page of 2+2 Personal Air Vehicle Construction Images.

2007-11-28 - Added flapping to the Heliplane Specs & Performance page.

2007-11-08 - Made a few changes recently:

  • Modified the main image on the home page. Instead of being a single, static image, there are now several thumbnail images below it. Clicking on any of the thumbnails replaces the main image with a larger version of that thumbnail. This will allow people at a glance to see some more of the concepts that we've come up with.
  • Updated the CHT-150 Heliplane Transport Overview page, and the related Specs & Performance page. Removed a few older, outdated pages.

2007-09-03 - Added 3 more pages of photos (Page 5, Page 6, & Page 7) to the PAV Construction Images section. Most of these photos were already available through the Monthly updates, but the Construction Image section keeps them grouped together, and shows them in a higher resolution than the thumbnail images of the Monthly Updates.

2007-08-06 - Made a few more changes to the 6-9 Place Business Air Vehicle page to reflect the most recent changes to the design. Also updated the related Images of 6-9 Place Business Aircraft and Performance Spreadsheet, Business Version - 2500 HP pages.

2007-07-02 - Updated the 6-Place Business Air Vehicle page to reflect the most recent changes to the design. Also updated the related Images of 6-Place Business Aircraft and Performance Spreadsheet, Business Version - 2500 HP pages.

2007-05-07 - Made the following changes:

2007-04-09 - A Carter fan, Milan Soukup, sent us a very good illustration of the CH-150, which we've added to the CH-150 Heliplane Transport Overview page and the CH-150 Images page.

2007-04-02 - Carter is making a slight change to its company philosophy. Whereas before, we'd always maintained that we were a pure research & development company, and would license our technologies to other companies to do manufacturing, we now feel that partnering with a manufacturer, as opposed to licensing, may be the best way to bring slowed rotor/compound aircraft to the market. We will still keep the main focus of the company as research & development. Several web pages were modified to reflect this change. Also, we are introducing a new 2-place model, which could be an entry level Carter aircraft.

2007-02-16 - Updated our Patents Granted page with our two latest patents - Extreme mu rotor and Tilting mast in a rotorcraft.

2007-02-12 - Updated our highlight video. It now includes the footage of the jump takeoffs of the CGD/T. To keep the video in a similar timeframe with the additional footage, the segments showing jump takeoffs of other autogyros were removed. Finally, the clips of the 4-Place Personal Air Vehicle were reordered in a more logical manner, reflecting a hypothetical trip that somebody might take in the aircraft.

2007-02-06 - Made the following changes:
