2007-12-04 - Made a few slight changes to the CHT-150 Heliplane
Transport Overview page. Modified the labels on the axes of the graphs (but not the actual values) on the Heliplane Specs & Performance page.
2007-12-03 - Added a new page of 2+2 Personal Air Vehicle
Construction Images.
2007-11-28 - Added flapping to the Heliplane Specs & Performance
page.
2007-11-08 - Made a few changes recently:
- Modified the main image on the home page. Instead of being a single, static image,
there are now several thumbnail images below it. Clicking on any of the thumbnails replaces the main image with a larger version
of that thumbnail. This will allow people at a glance to see some more of the concepts that we've come up with.
- Updated the CHT-150 Heliplane Transport Overview page, and the related Specs & Performance page. Removed a few older, outdated pages.
2007-09-03 - Added 3 more pages of photos (Page 5, Page 6, & Page 7) to the PAV Construction Images
section. Most of these photos were already available through the Monthly updates, but the Construction Image section keeps them
grouped together, and shows them in a higher resolution than the thumbnail images of the Monthly Updates.
2007-08-06 - Made a few more changes to the 6-9 Place Business Air Vehicle
page to reflect the most recent changes to the design. Also updated the related Images of 6-9 Place
Business Aircraft and Performance Spreadsheet, Business Version - 2500 HP pages.
2007-07-02 - Updated the 6-Place Business Air Vehicle page to reflect the
most recent changes to the design. Also updated the related Images of 6-Place Business Aircraft and
Performance Spreadsheet, Business Version - 2500 HP pages.
2007-05-07 - Made the following changes:
2007-04-09 - A Carter fan, Milan Soukup, sent us a very good
illustration of the CH-150, which we've added to the CH-150 Heliplane Transport Overview page
and the CH-150 Images page.
2007-04-02 - Carter is making a slight change to its company philosophy. Whereas before, we'd
always maintained that we were a pure research & development company, and would license our technologies to other companies to do
manufacturing, we now feel that partnering with a manufacturer, as opposed to licensing, may be the best way to bring slowed
rotor/compound aircraft to the market. We will still keep the main focus of the company as research & development. Several web
pages were modified to reflect this change. Also, we are introducing a new 2-place model, which could be an entry level Carter
aircraft.
- Updated the Frequently Asked Questions page to reflect the change in company
philosophy noted above, as well as a few other minor updates reflecting the fact that the CarterCopter achieved mu-1.
- Updated the Placing an Order page, as well as the related Deposit Agreement and Frequently Asked Questions about Ordering
a Carter Aircraft to reflect the change in company philosophy noted above, and the ability to place deposits on the 2-Place
PAV.
- Created a new page to describe the 2-Place PAV concept.
- Due to the nearly overwhelming response we've received from people interested in buying the CarterGyro Demonstrator Trainer, we've added a note to that page explaining that the aircraft is a demonstrator, and
providing a link to the 2-Place PAV.
- Modified some weights on the PAV 2+2 page to reflect more accurate estimates now that
we are further along in construction.
- Gave the Concepts & Technologies index page a new look, using small thumbnail images
for each concept, to make it easier to distinguish the concepts at a glance.
- Renamed the aircraft that we used to refer to as the "CarterCopter Diesel Version" to the CarterCopter Record Breaker, to more accurately reflect the actual nature of that aircraft.
- Updated the Old Design for a 2-Place Personal Air Vehicle and Old Design for a 4-Place Personal Air Vehicle pages to reflect that they had been replaced by newer
concepts. We have left the old designs on the site, since they were concepts completed under a NASA STTR contract.
- Updated the page about the CarterCopter Technology Demonstrator to relfect the fact that
it had achieved mu-1, and to list some of the accomplishments from its flight testing program.
- Added a fourth page of 2+2 Personal Air Vehicle Construction
Images.
2007-02-16 - Updated our Patents Granted page with our two
latest patents - Extreme mu rotor and Tilting mast in a rotorcraft.
2007-02-12 - Updated our highlight video. It now includes the
footage of the jump takeoffs of the CGD/T. To keep the video in a similar timeframe with the additional footage, the segments
showing jump takeoffs of other autogyros were removed. Finally, the clips of the 4-Place Personal Air Vehicle were reordered in a
more logical manner, reflecting a hypothetical trip that somebody might take in the aircraft.
